Failure is an option and it’s okay, just keep trying. Ronda-isms: Good-Bad-Ugly
There is no success without failure. When a baby learns to walk, falling down is part of the process, and we encourage the toddler – good job, keep trying. Yet, somehow we’ve convinced ourselves that we can’t talk about our mistakes and failures, when we learn and grow from them.
In 2010, I started my blog/website, Ronda-isms, and laid bare my good, bad, and ugly as I chased dreams. I am open about my frustrations and trials because there’s no such thing as an overnight success. I started with eight loyal readers – thank goodness for small beginnings.
I moved to New York in 2011 to chase my dream of becoming a published author and writer. I am humorist, satirist, storyteller, and features writer. In 2014, I became a Huffington Post contributor having several articles featured on the front page, Style, Politics, Education, College, Business, Arts, and Black Voices.
I have a screenplay and a few books (fiction and nonfiction) that I need to dust off.
It has been a process, but the journey is what makes the destination so sweet.

André Leon Talley, former editor-at-large for Vogue, said that my article on him was “one of the finest pitched profiles ever in life…brilliant…marvelous talent of wordsmithing.”
